Because fall is here and the weather will soon change — and because we believe in the power of good linens — this iteration is dedicated to quilts. Whether more traditional-feeling or deeply modern, here are T design editor Tom Delavan’s favorites.
1. CTtextiles, $195
I love the vibrant pinks and plums, and the charcoal edge, of this one-of-a-kind, small cotton quilt, made from new and recycled fabric.

2. Schoolhouse, $249
This quilt’s made in Portugal, but its floral motif (especially in the black colorway) gives the impression of a vintage American design.

3. Ralph Lauren, $260
This deep-indigo, batik-inspired quilt reverses to reveal an allover checked pattern.
Width: 90″. Length: 92″.
4. GreenRow, $349
This GreenRow style is also reversible, with a bold stripe on one side and a narrower one on the other. It’s garment-dyed, or dyed after assembly, for a more relaxed look.

5. Porta, $420
This option, with an intricately stitched pattern that recalls an antique piece, is a collaboration between the interior designer Beata Heuman and the Swedish bedding company Mille Notti, which is known for its craftsmanship — the line holds a royal warrant.

6. DWR, $500
The Berea College Quilted Tapestry, which can decorate a bed or a wall, features four blocks, each designed and handmade by a student at the Weaving Studio at Berea College in Kentucky, which in 1866 became the first coeducational and racially integrated college in the Southern United States.

7. Slow Roads, $625
Inspired by American examples from the early 1900s, the Sunday Quilt is made from vintage sari fabrics at a family-owned workshop in Jaipur, India.

8. Denyse Schmidt Quilts, $3,500
The simple yet bold graphic pattern of the Monolith Quilt is typical of the textile artist Denyse Schmidt’s work. I like the color combo of this one, but the piece can be customized to your liking.

9. M. Callahan, $4,500
The woven design of Meg Callahan’s Rinne Quilt creates a grid that appears unfinished, which gives the piece more depth.

10. Pemberton Qwilts, $4,900
The artist Emily Campbell draws on her experiences studying at the Yale School of Art and working at the design firm Pentagram. This particular style seems to reference a rainbow and another one of her influences, the artist Ellsworth Kelly.
