Wendy’s is adding revamped chicken tenders to menus nationwide, along with six new dipping sauces.
The chicken tenders, branded as “Tendys,” feature seasoned, crispy breading and all-white-meat chicken. Customers can order them in three- or four-piece servings, either a la carte or as part of a combo meal.
Each order comes with two dipping sauces, with additional cups available for a small charge. A two-piece option is also available in Wendy’s Kids’ Meals.
Wendy’s new sauces include:
- Wendy’s Signature — Wendy’s signature creamy sauce with hints of black pepper and hot sauce.
- Sweet Chili — A sweet, tangy blend with sriracha, garlic and ginger.
- Scorchin’ Hot — Creamy hot sauce with a slow-building heat.
- Creamy Ranch — Extra-rich take on the classic dip.
- Honey BBQ — A smoky, slightly sweet barbecue flavor.
- Honey Mustard — Dijon-forward mustard balanced with honey.
The tenders will come in new packaging designed for dunking, with a built-in slot for sauce cups.
Wendy’s previously offered chicken tenders in 2007, 2017, and 2019, according to Today. The return follows a wave of similar menu moves from other fast-food chains, including McDonald’s and Taco Bell.
