Multiple people have been shot at a Mormon church in Michigan, the , police said Sunday.

Police said one person was killed, several others wounded, and the suspect is also dead.
The shooting occurred at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, some 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of Detroit, local police said in a social media post.
The suspect is believed to have set the church on fire, Police Chief William Renye told reporters.
Flames could be seen for hours before the blaze was eventually extinguished.
“We do believe we will find some additional victims once we find the area where the fire was,” Renye said.
The Church said it was “in communication with local law enforcement as the investigation continues.”

US President Donald Trump on Sunday denounced a shooting and fire at a Mormon church in Michigan as “another targeted attack on Christians,” after one person was killed and several more injured.
“The suspect is dead, but there is still a lot to learn. This appears to be yet another targeted attack on Christians in the United States of America,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
