NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) — Soul and rock artist Decatur native Lamont Landers has released his debut EP, Titled: Introducing… Lamont Landers, via Lucille Records, an imprint of MCA Records.

Produced by Dave Cobb, the seven-track project blends raw emotion with storytelling that reflects both the struggles of modern American life and the joy of love.

“I’m beyond excited to finally share this EP with everyone,” Landers said in a statement. “Each song is a piece of my story, and I poured everything I’ve felt and lived into this music. I hope fans connect with it, feel the emotion behind each track, and enjoy the journey as much as I did creating it.”

Below is the full EP tracklist:

1. America – Written by Lamont Landers, Dave Cobb 2. Oh S**t! (I’m In Love) – Written by Lamont Landers, Dave Cobb, Aaron Raitiere 3. Golden Skies – Written by Lamont Landers, Dave Cobb, Philip Towns 4. Lotta Love – Written by Madeline Edwards, Klare Essad, Oscar Charles 5. Devil Is Alive And Well – Written by Lamont Landers, Lori McKenna 6. Love’s Got The Best Of Us – Written by Madeline Edwards, Dan Fernandez, Emily Falvey 7. Landers recently performed at the King of Soul Music Festival in Macon, Georgia, hosted by the Otis Redding Foundation. The event celebrated the opening of the Otis Redding Center for the Arts and supported efforts to preserve the late singer’s legacy.

He shared the stage with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Yola and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Lamont is currently touring all across the U.S. as a headliner as well as direct support for St. Paul & The Bones. He will perform at the Princess Theater Center For Performing Arts in his hometown of Decatur on November 28th.
