EXCLUSIVE: Peacock has taken on Canadian supernatural series Ghosting with Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan.

The unscripted series, made by Blue Ant Studios in association with Luke Hutchie Productions, will debut in October, with extended footage of all 16 episodes. We hear the eps will total over 30 minutes each.

The show follows Ezra actor Hutchie and Hell of a Summer‘s Finlan as they investigate Canada’s most allegedly haunted locations on a quest to determine if they are truly haunted or not. In each episode, a celebrity guest acompanies them on their investigation into the local lore.

Canadian pubcaster CBC and its streamer, CBC Gem, originally launched the show and has run it for two seasons, with the second helping the brand to reach more than 30 million online hits.

Guests have included Veronika Slowikowska of Saturday Night Live, Joel Oulette from Mike Flanigan’s upcoming Prime Video series Carrie, Katie Douglas, Romi Shraiter, Humberly González, Nikki Roumel of Ginny & Georgia, Devyn Nekoda (Scream IV), Kevin Alves (Yellowjackets), Zoé De Grand’Maison (The Summer I Turned Pretty), Priyanka (Canada’s Drag Race), Jade Hassouné (Shadowhunters), Jordan Connor (Riverdale), Bukola Ayoka (Robyn Hood), Krista Nazaire (Hell of a Summer), Percy Hynes White (Wednesday), Synthia Kiss (Canada’s Drag Race), and as Frankie and Hale Grande.

Hutchie and Finlan are the creators, executive producers and stars. Executive producers for Blue Ant Studios are Hornburg, Mark J.W. Bishop, Donna Luke and Jennifer Harkness. Jonathan Jude is senior story producer for Season 2, Nikki Chow is the series director and Brooke Yerxa is the associate producer. Sally Catto, Jennifer Dettman  and Susan Taylor oversaw CBC’s involvement.

Blue Ant has the international distribution rights.
