Fox Entertainment Global (FEG) has appointed Peter Grant as Vice President, Sales, Germany, France and the Nordics.
Based in London, Grant will lead oversee dealmaking across German-speaking Europe, French-speaking Europe and the Nordic territories. His hire reunites him with several former Fox colleagues, thanks to a previous spell at the business’s international sales arm when it was known as Fox Networks Group Content Distribution.
The exec is best known for an 18-year spell at All3Media International, but joins FEG from Amazon MGM Studios Distribution, where he spent six years – three prior to Amazon’s acquisition of U.S. studio MGM and three after.
FEG, the content licensing and program sales arm of Fox, said the appointment reflects an “ongoing investment in international talent and infrastructure.”
“Peter brings an impressive mix of global market intelligence, long-standing client relationships, and deep commercial acumen that’s been honed through decades of experience in premium content sales,” said David Smyth, EVP of Content Sales for FEG.
“As we expand Fox Entertainment Global’s international footprint, his expertise in some of Europe’s largest and most influential media markets will be integral to our continued growth.”
At Amazon MGM, Grant led on content licensing to German-speaking Europe and to MGM, and before that held senior leadership roles at Fox Network Group Content Distribution, where he managed sales of scripted and factual programming, including National Geographic content, across Western and Southern Europe, and spearheaded global SVOD deals with platforms such as Netflix, Amazon and Hulu.
Earlier in his career, Grant spent nearly two decades at All3Media International, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President, Sales, managing sales across key territories including France, Germany, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. He began his career at Chrysalis Distribution.
