Brooklyn Beckham is unfazed over the fact that his family drama has dominated headlines recently.
“There’s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife,” the photographer told the Daily Mail Wednesday, referencing Nicola Peltz Beckham.
“Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.”
Beckham — who has gone “no contact” with parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, per sources — added of all the chatter surrounding the feud, “Everyone is always going to say rubbish.”
“I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun,” he continued at the Ryder Cup, a golf competition between a 12-player team from Europe and a 12-player team from the US.
Brooklyn, who faced off against Eli Manning’s team at Bethpage Black Golf Course in New York, also shared that he would soon return to Los Angeles to be with Peltz Beckham, 30.
“I left my wife with our four dogs on her own so I have to go back and help out and get back to work,” he said.
Brooklyn has leaned on the “Lola” star for support amid his estrangement from his blood relatives.
In June, Page Six exclusively reported that eldest child of the Beckham family was on the outs with his folks and siblings because he had grown even closer to his in-laws, billionaire Nelson Peltz and his wife, Claudia Peltz. Meanwhile, Nicola has been rumored to have had longstanding tension with Victoria, 51.
However, another insider retorted at the time, “Anyone who knows the Beckhams knows they are loving, committed, amazing parents.”
Rumblings of a feud began in April when sources told TMZ that Brooklyn had stopped speaking to his brother Romeo Beckham over the latter’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
Brooklyn had also dated the British DJ in the past but he was reportedly not jealous of Romeo’s romance with her but rather questioned her motives.
Turnbull then spoke out in June to deny she and Brooklyn ever dated and added, “I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”
Since then, Brooklyn has continued to miss family milestones like David’s 50th birthday or the soccer star’s knighthood.
However, in June, David appeared to extend an olive branch to his oldest son by including him in a post that read, “I love you all.”
