Mark your calendars, the Los Angeles County Fair has announced its return dates for the 2026 season at the Pomona Fairplex and revealed the “Play Your Way” theme.
“The theme celebrates all the ways Southern California loves to play — whether that’s the thrill of the carnival, the joy of music and dance, the excitement of sports and games, or indulging in our region’s favorite foodie traditions,” the event’s organizers said in a news release on Monday.
The fair is slated to run between May 7 and May 31, 2026, with opening day scheduled even earlier than last year.
The 104th anniversary of the L.A. County Fair brings 17 days of games, rides,music, food, animals and surprises for the “ultimate kickoff to summer.”
Highlights of the 2026 Fair include:
- On-the-spot contests like bubblegum blowing and hula hoop challenges
- A full-sized skating rink
- Bubbles with the Bubbleologist
- A pirate-themed play area at The Lagoon
- More playful surprises to be revealed as the Fair gets closer
The Fair, located at 1101 W. McKinley Avenue in Pomona, draws nearly 800,000 guests each year.
