Welcome to Late Night Roundup, a rundown of the previous night’s highlights that lets you sleep — and lets us get paid to watch comedy. Here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.

Stay Awhile, Why Don’t You?

President Trump kicked off his state visit to the U.K. on Wednesday with a carriage procession through the grounds of Windsor Castle, followed by a royal banquet.

Stephen Colbert was happy for the brief break from Trump, saying, “For the next couple of days, he’s bangin’ their mash.”

“There’s a lot of etiquette to remember when you meet the royals. For example, when meeting King Charles or Queen Camilla, the first address is ‘Your Majesty.’ For Prince William and Princess Catherine, it’s ‘Your Royal Highness.’ And if Trump runs into Prince Andrew, the correct address is, ‘[imitating Trump] We never met, remember? I have no idea who you are. Ixnay.’” — STEPHEN COLBERT

“But, yes, Trump left his troubles behind yesterday as he embarked on a three-day state visit to the U.K., his happy place: where the king is in charge and vegetables are illegal.” — DESI LYDIC

“Well, guys, today President Trump kicked off his state visit to the U.K. by traveling to Windsor Castle to meet with King Charles. Yep, today Trump met with King Charles, and tomorrow he’ll meet with Harry Potter to make the Epstein files disappear.” — JIMMY FALLON

“And tonight the royal family treated Trump to a lavish state dinner with 160 guests. King Charles was, like, ‘I know what’ll get him to leave: British food.’” — JIMMY FALLON

“Trump appreciated the dinner. He said, ‘[imitating Trump] Thank you, King Charles, Queen Latifah, Lord Farquaad and Lady Gaga. Thank you very much.” — JIMMY FALLON

“It appears the Trumps may be kind of picky guests, because even though the king’s bed linen is the finest Egyptian cotton, President Trump reportedly had his sheets shipped in from America. That’s not surprising to me. I’ve always suspected that Trump sheets his own bed.” — STEPHEN COLBERT

Canceling Kimmel

News broke Wednesday evening that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” was pulled off ABC “indefinitely” after comments he made about Charlie Kirk’s shooter on air.

On his Fox News show, Greg Gutfeld called Kimmel a “clown” for what he called “ignoring reality” and blaming MAGA for Kirk’s murder.

“If that man was any more full of [expletive], he’d be a colostomy bag.” — GREG GUTFELD

“That was two days ago. So Kimmel had the chance to walk back. But he can’t, and why is that? Because to admit he was wrong on this calls into question his entire filter for interpreting reality, so it’s better to live in denial knowing the like-minded media won’t press you on it. But we will — but hey, Disney shareholders, it may be time to thaw out Walt to put things right.” — GREG GUTFELD

The Punchiest Punchlines (Spirit Airlines Edition)

“And, get this, while Trump was flying to the U.K., a Spirit Airlines plane got too close to Air Force One, and an air traffic controller told the pilot to, ‘pay attention and get off the iPad.’ Ironically, it’s the same thing staffers said to Trump during tonight’s dinner.” — JIMMY FALLON

“Get off the iPad? It’s Spirit Airlines. How’s the pilot going to Google ‘how to fly a plane?’” — DESI LYDIC

“According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, toxic fumes are leaking into airplanes and making passengers and crews sick. Though if you’re flying Spirit, they’re happy to crack a window.” — SETH MEYERS

The Bits Worth Watching

The actor Cooper Hoffman talked about his role in the new adaptation of Stephen King’s 1979 dystopian novel “The Long Walk” on Wednesday’s “Daily Show.”

What We’re Excited About on Thursday Night

The singer St. Vincent will give an interview and special performance on Thursday’s “Late Show.”
