FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) — Natasha Williams is the daughter of Lula Addison, who was killed more than a decade ago, and now the killer is up for parole.

Natasha Williams is still holding on to the last of what she has of her mother, Lula Teresa Addison.

“A lot of people knew her and loved her, a lot of people respected her,” Williams said.

Addison was found dead at the ‘City Lodge Motel’ in downtown Florence on July 26, 2013.

At the time, investigators said Addison was last seen with a man named Eugene Jones.

“I don’t know how they met, but they got a room at the city lodge, him and her were back and forth from the room they got them on video throughout uptown Florence, going to restaurants and going to the store,” Williams said.

William’s sister found their mother dead, under a bed at the motel.

Two months later, police arrested Eugene Jones, who is from Bessemer, Alabama.

Jones was originally charged with murder, but his conviction was overturned in 2015, and he was convicted of a lesser charge of manslaughter.

A judge sentenced Jones to life in prison, with the possibility of parole, and now, he’s up for parole next week.

“I believe he’s done this before, I believe he’ll do it again, I don’t believe he needs to be out here, I don’t believe that we should have to relive all of this again, 12 years later, and he’s only been in prison for 10 years.”

Williams is begging that he stay behind bars.

“It might be 10 years to other people, but this is like yesterday to me, it’s something we think about every day,” Williams said. “We don’t get to see our momma. I want justice every time he comes up for parole. I want him to be rejected. I just do not think that he should be out here.”

Jones has a parole hearing scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, in Montgomery.

Williams says she wants to be at the hearing but has no means of transportation and is raising funds on a GoFundMe to get the money to go to Montgomery for the hearing.
