EXCLUSIVE: Hasbro entertainment president Olivier Dumont has left his role after two years.

Dumont is being replaced by Kim Boyd, who takes on a slightly different job than Dumont as President of Licensing and Entertainment for Hasbro. Boyd will have several direct reports including L.A.-based execs Zev Foreman, Head of Film, and Gabe Morano, Head of TV, whose roles are otherwise not impacted by the changes.

Boyd has been with Hasbro for 20 years, starting out as associate brand manager of the Marvel division and working her way up to this newly-created post.

Dumont was promoted to the Hasbro President Entertainment role in August 2023. This came after the toy giant sold eOne to Lionsgate for $500M but kept hold of an “asset lite” entertainment division that included kids mega brands like Peppa Pig and My Little Pony, along with the Transformers One animation and the Dungeons & Dragons TV series.

Dumont was previously eOne’s President of Family Brands for 13 years and was the CEO of PJ Masks studio Frog Box.

On LinkedIn, he said: “What makes me proudest isn’t just the shows or films we delivered, but the everlasting memories we created for children and families all over the world. From Peppa Pig to PJ Masks, Transformers to My Little Pony, I had the joy of working with visionary creators, partners, and colleagues to bring these beloved brands to life in new and meaningful ways.”

Dumont said the team at eOne swelled from 20 to more than 200 under his watch, “and the results just followed as we collectively built two $1B+ brands.”

He said he will “explore new opportunities to build, lead and create” for his next role.
