It’s (almost) time for Mariah Carey to defrost and for the holiday season to begin. In the meantime, the songstress has made a major announcement.
The elusive chanteuse will be decking the halls of Las Vegas for a limited-time residency at the Dolby Live at Park MGM.
“The festive run of 10 magical performances will take place from Nov. 28 through Dec. 13, transforming the Strip into a winter wonderland filled with holiday hits, sparkle and Carey’s legendary vocals,” the announcement from Live Nation explained. “The shows follow her critically acclaimed residency, ‘Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas’ at Dolby Live in 2024 and 2025.”
The singer also posted the announcement on Instagram Monday morning.
“Excited to bring Christmastime to the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Vegas!” the caption said.
Tickets will go on sale Sept. 20 at 10:00 a.m. PST.
Presales start on Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. for Citi and AAdvantage customers. Artist presales start on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. PST.
Members of MGM Rewards, MGM Resorts’ loyalty rewards program, as well as Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers, will receive access to a pre-sale beginning Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. PST. All pre-sales will end Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. PST.
Tickets can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com/MariahVegas. All shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
Both Carey and Live Nation Las Vegas will be donating $1 if every ticket sold to the show to The Fresh Air Fund’s Camp Mariah.
“Camp Mariah is the summer component of the year-round Career Awareness Program. Children, ages 11-15, attend Camp Mariah for three weeks each summer. Campers explore their interests in classes like film, photography, fashion, culinary arts, debate and international relations,” the release said. “A careers class helps campers create resumes and cover letters and conduct mock interviews. Campers also play team sports, swim every day and explore the outdoors in environmental science class.”
This year is a busy one for the singer.
The songwriter’s highly anticipated 16th studio album, “Here for It All,” is set to be released on Sept. 26. The album’s first single, “Type Dangerous,” was released in June, followed by “Sugar Sweet” in July.
