Less than a year after its successful UK launch, Swedish preventive healthcare technology company Neko Health has expanded into Northern England.
Founded by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Spotify’s Daniel Ek, Neko Health already operates its UK centres in Marylebone and Spitalfields, London. Now, as part of its rapid regional growth, the company has opened its third location on Brazennose Street in Manchester. The new centre is expected to deliver up to 20,000 Body Scans annually, furthering Neko Health’s mission to make high-tech, preventive healthcare more accessible than ever.
Like its London locations, the Manchester Neko Health Centre offers non-invasive Body Scans that deliver a detailed, whole-body health overview in under an hour. These scans assess a wide range of potential health concerns – from skin anomalies to stroke and heart attack risk – all for £299.
Despite early skepticism that preventive health might have limited appeal outside of London, thousands have already joined the Manchester centre’s waitlist, according to the brand – showing that Neko Health is already reshaping how people across the UK think about their wellbeing.
Speed and prevention are at the core of Neko Health’s philosophy. The company believes that annual check-ups –before symptoms appear – can dramatically improve the likelihood of early detection and successful treatment.
