Global superstar Jackson Wang has collaborated with Apple for the release of his new single, “Let Loose.”
The new visual was shot entirely on the recently unveiled iPhone 17 Pro, which was announced at Apple’s keynote event. The music video, co-directed by Wang and Ojun Kwon, showcases not only the phone’s innovative camera technology but also the artist’s boundary-pushing vision. It utilizes the device’s advanced camera system, including a 48MP Ultra Wide and 48MP Telephoto camera with an 8x optical zoom.
“Even during some regular full production shoots, there were times I didn’t get what I expected,” Wang shared in a statement. “So it was really mind-blowing to experience what the iPhone has achieved in this body of work.”
“Any zoom on visuals, whether slow or quick, push in or pull out, always has an intention of emotional delivery,” he continued. “In order to express emotions and narratives in visuals, the dynamics of speed and clearness is very important.”
“Let Loose” arrives following the success of his album MAGICMAN 2, which debuted at number thirteen on the Billboard 200 chart. This achievement marked the highest debut ever by a Chinese solo artist. The song’s release also precedes the “MAGICMAN 2 WORLD TOUR,” which is set to begin in October.
