This year’s Emmy Awards ceremony took place on Sunday evening in Los Angeles.
Including awards from the Creative Arts Emmys, the biggest winner of the night was the Apple TV+ comedy “The Studio,” which took home 13 statuettes, including for best comedy.
The Apple TV+ drama “Severance,” which was up for the most awards with 27 nominations, won eight but was bested by HBO Max’s “The Pitt” in the best drama category. Noah Wyle, the star of “The Pitt,” finally won his first Emmy 26 years after he was first nominated for his role in NBC’s “ER.” Owen Cooper, 15, became the youngest person to win the Emmy for supporting actor in a limited series, for the Netflix hit “Adolescence,” which dominated its category.
