Netflix has announced the official release date of The Witcher season four, which returns to screens for the first time in over two years.
Season four is scheduled to premiere on October 30 with a total of eight, 50-minute episodes. “After the Continent-altering events of Season Three, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies,” the logline reads. “As their paths diverge, and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys. And if they can accept these found families, they just might have a chance at reuniting for good…”
The upcoming season will see Liam Hemsworth take over the lead role of Geralt of Rivia from Henry Cavill. Joining him in the cast are the likes of Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey, Laurence Fishburne, Eamon Farren, Anna Shaffer, Mimî M Khayisa, Cassie Clare and more.
