Moose Fraternity will continue to support NASCAR‘s Ross Chastain and the Trackhouse Racing team until the end of 2027 after a new contract extension was signed. The service organization has been backing Chastain since 2020.

One of Chastain’s notable NASCAR Cup Series wins with Moose Fraternity dates back to 2022, when the No. 1 car won the race at Talladega Superspeedway, marking the driver’s second victory.

Moose Fraternity branding will feature on Chastain’s car this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, apart from supporting him in the Martinsville elimination. Addressing the extension, Chastain said in a statement:

“The Moose Fraternity has been with me at racetracks and taken me to lodges across the country. They are salt of the earth, good people who I have watched give back to the community. I couldn’t be prouder to say I am, and my family are, members of Tice and the Shores, Florida Lodge 1297 within the Moose Fraternity.”

Moose Fraternity CEO Scott Hart said:

“We couldn’t be happier with our relationship with Ross and the Trackhouse Race team. Ross has been a great ambassador for the Moose Fraternity and really understands our missions of helping children in need, as well as our senior members, and assisting the communities in which our lodges operate.

“Conversely, our members are huge supporters of NASCAR, the Trackhouse Race team and Ross Chastain, and this relationship allows our members to bond together around a high-profile activity where they can share some genuine passion during most weekends throughout the year.”

Trackhouse, along with drivers Chastain and Shane Van Gisbergen, made news following last weekend’s race at the World Wide Technology Raceway, after they were seen driving over the grass post-race during the cool down lap in an attempt to gain weight.

NASCAR revealed that it would be taking up the matter with the team since there are rules in place to penalize such tactics. Drivers in several forms of motorsports go over grass or mud since they stick to the hot tires, potentially helping them pass the post-race weight requirement. Cup Series managing director Brad Moran said:

“We’ll be having some discussions with Trackhouse management, as well as their crew chiefs, and we’ll be giving all the teams some information regarding that this week.

“But yeah, it certainly caught our radar and you know, we have rules that could put the teams in a real bad spot when we see that. So we’ll make it pretty clear to them, moving forward starting at Bristol, what that means.”
