President Donald Trump stepped out onto the streets of Washington, D.C. Tuesday night to dine at a seafood joint shortly after canceling the public signing of a memorandum.

Trump was joined by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth as he made his way to Joe’s Seafood, an American surf n’ turf spot near the White House.

The president was flanked by a large posse and Secret Service as he pulled a stunt aimed at proving that D.C. has become safer since he deployed the National Guard to crack down on crime.

Trump went out for dinner shortly after signing a memorandum targeting misleading pharmaceutical ads in an Oval Office ceremony with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Trump’s schedule for Tuesday indicated that he would sign a proclamation at the Oval Office with the White House Press Pool in attendance. Hours later, however, the reporters were informed that the memorandum had been signed without them in the room.
