EXCLUSIVE: Germany’s OneGate Media will be at MIPCOM Cannes next month with an initiative to get more producers working on digital commissions.
The plan will see the Studio Hamburg-owned distributor issuing a ‘content call’ to open submissions to producers and IP owners, with selected projects commissioned for OneGate’s digital channels and handed a tailored digital distribution strategy.
The idea is to developed multiple dubbed versions of productions, channel marketing across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Google Ads, access to the OneGate AVOD channel portfolio and detailed analytics and insights.

OneGate will be holding its ‘content call’ live at MIPCOM on Wednesday, October 15 at the Palais des Festivals. MIPCOM runs from October 13-16.
The company currently operates more than 50 AVOD channels. Last week, it hired Stephanie Wang as an international sales manager.
