Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at age 76, was honored with a star-studded tribute performance Sunday during the Video Music Awards.

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, YUNGBLUD, and Nuno Bettencourt performed a medley of the late Black Sabbath frontman’s hits, including “Crazy Train,” “Changes” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”

The performance was introduced by Osbourne’s son Jack and several of his grandkids, who shared a video message to VMAs viewers about their beloved family member.

“I know for sure it would make him incredibly happy to see these great musicians carry on his legacy and help inspire the next generation of rockers,” Jack Osbourne said.

“In the words of our papa, ‘Let’s go crazy,’” the grandkids added, referring to his popular song “Crazy Train.”

Later in his career, Osbourne became a fixture on MTV, which is also home to the VMAs. The reality TV show “The Osbournes,” which followed his family, ran on the network from 2002 through 2005.

The “Prince of Darkness” got a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2002.

Osbourne reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward for their final show on July 5.

The reunion performance came just months after Sharon Osbourne revealed that her husband was unable to walk because of Parkinson’s disease.

The VMAs tribute ended with the artists yelling in unison: “Ozzy forever, man.”
