Although Wednesday fans are shipping a new pair after Season 2, one star of the Netflix series doesn’t think it would be an appropriate coupling.

Emma Myers recently explained why she doesn’t think her character Enid Sinclair should be with new character Agnes DeMille (Evie Templeton), despite their chemistry in a dance scene from the penultimate episode ‘Woe Me the Money’.

“I say Agnes is a baby, a child. Maybe ship Enid with somebody her own age. That’s what I’ll say,” Myers told TVLine, as Enid is supposed to be 16, with Agnes around 13 years old.

Set to Lady Gaga‘s ‘The Dead Dance‘, recorded exclusively for the series, Agnes volunteers to dance with Enid during her solo after the former drove a wedge between the latter’s friendship with Wednesday (Jenna Ortega).

Wednesday co-creator Miles Millar previously told Deadline the dance was a “moment of friendship and alliance was significant for them as characters.”

“It felt like it was tailor-made for the show in terms of the lyrics,” added Millar.” We knew we had this gala and this moment between Enid and Agnes when they come together, after having been frenemies throughout the season, and it just felt like the perfect moment.”
