MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – The witches are taking over downtown Madison once again.

On Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m., the annual Madison Witches Ride will bring spooky fun to the streets as costumed “witches” roll through on bicycles, golf carts and even on foot, showering children with treats along the way.

This year’s route runs along Garner Street, behind Madison City Schools Stadium, offering families the perfect spot to catch candy and enjoy the Halloween spectacle.

Hosted by Madison Visionary Partners (MVP), the event blends community spirit with purpose. Proceeds from the ride will directly support the Madison Miracle League, a project dedicated to building an all-inclusive Miracle League field at Palmer Park.

The field will give children of every ability the opportunity to experience the joy of baseball in a safe, welcoming environment.

The festivities don’t stop there. After the ride, families are invited to a lively Community Block Party at Home Place Park (100 Shorter Street). The celebration will feature kid-friendly activities, food trucks, and a DJ spinning festive Halloween music.

Those interested in joining the fun as a witch can sign up by clicking this link.
