Summary

  • Paulin, Paulin, Paulin is re-issuing two iconic Pierre Paulin designs: the Tongue chair and Blublub sofa
  • The launch makes these pieces more accessible and features customizable colors
  • The collection will be available online on September 5th and at Paris Design Week

In a move that promises to make a legend more accessible, Paulin, Paulin, Paulin is re-issuing two of Pierre Paulin‘s most iconic creations: the Tongue chair (1967) and the Blublub sofa (1972). These pieces will join the already available Groovy armchair, creating a foundational collection that celebrates the designer’s pioneering spirit.

For the Paulin family, this initiative is a powerful act of reclamation, a way to honor their heritage while making Pierre Paulin’s work available to a wider audience. Unlike the limited, Utopic editions that have been produced in the past, these new re-editions are being crafted at a larger scale. This approach stays true to the Paulin, Paulin, Paulin DNA, which is dedicated to preserving and expressing a vision of Pierre Paulin’s legacy that is both authentic and fresh.

The collection offers a vivid tapestry of colors, with each piece available in a wide range of colorways. The Blublub sofa, in particular, with its distinctive alternating panels, can be customized to order in unique color combinations, allowing customers to become a part of the creative process.

The Tongue chair and Blublub sofa will officially launch on September 5, 2025, on the studio’s new website. The entire collection will also be showcased at Le Bon Marché during Paris Design Week until September 15th, where a dedicated space will bring together furniture, apparel, and a new capsule collection of T-shirts. This display is a testament to the seamless intersection of design and experience, a principle central to the Paulin, Paulin, Paulin ethos.
