If you thought Jeff Bezos’ wedding would be the most star-studded event in Italy this year, you’d be incorrect.

Since Wednesday, the Venice Film Festival has welcomed stars from around the world on its massive red carpet. Heidi Klum, Laura Dern, and the Clooneys are just a few who have attended so far.

Some of the above stood out in stunning fashion, while others chose unimpressive styles. Here’s a look at the best and worst outfits so far.

George and Amal Clooney looked like royalty ahead of a movie screening.

They walked arm in arm down the red carpet before viewing the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor’s new film, “Jay Kelly.”

George Clooney wore a classic black tuxedo with a matching bow tie, and his wife sported a vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer gown. The fuchsia look was strapless, ruched, and lined with buttons down its bodice.

It also had a puffed train attached at the hips, which fanned around Amal Clooney as she walked.

Laura Dern’s dress overpowered her.

She wore a strapless, Armani Privé gown that was black up top and green at the bottom. The dress had potential, but it was overshadowed by a beaded poncho draped over her shoulders.

Dern should have worn the dress without the second piece or styled her hair in an updo to give the garment more room to shine.

Oscar Isaac looked sharp in denim.

The “Star Wars” actor arrived at the festival wearing perfectly-fitted jeans, a crisp white T-shirt, and a brown blazer.

His accessories were equally luxe. He wore $1,100 Celine loafers, a gold chain bracelet, and $870 Fellini sunglasses from Jacques Marie Mage.

Andrew Garfield’s pastel outfit could have benefited from one tweak.

Garfield posed for photos at an “After the Hunt” event wearing khaki pants and a baby-blue Dior sweater.

The look was simple but stylish, and it was well-accessorized with tortoiseshell glasses and a $17,000 Bulgari watch.

Unfortunately, the “Spider-Man” actor’s shoes weren’t as chic. He wore loafer-style sneakers from Dior with green bottoms and purple tops. More classic shoes would have worked better.

Julia Roberts brought back her ’90s style, and it paid off.

She may have worn jeans for her first Venice Film Festival event of the year, but her outfit wasn’t casual. It was designed by Versace.

Roberts wore a striped blouse, an oversize navy blazer, a black belt with gold hardware, and pointed leather heels.

The look was tailored to perfection, and it mixed textures and colors seamlessly.

Riley Keough’s red-carpet ensemble looked more like a costume.

There were a lot of strong pieces included in her Chloé outfit, like its flowing, cream-colored skirt and her statement crystal necklace.

It was her blouse that detracted from the outfit. The brown piece was overly puffy, decorated with too many ruffles, and too metallic in color.

Emma Stone chose a gown that was simple but chic.

Louis Vuitton custom-made her white gown, which was sleeveless and embellished with silver stripes. It also had unique layers, with a bodice that looked like a minidress and a straight skirt attached below it.

The dress sparkled on the red carpet and complemented Stone’s short haircut.

Alicia Silverstone’s gown was ultimately forgettable.

Prada designed her shapeless white gown. It had long sleeves, a high neckline, and a floor-length skirt.

The look was overly simple, even with her platform heels and Crivelli jewels.
