Kate Gosselin blamed ex-husband Jon Gosselin for their children not faring “well” after their divorce.
The 50-year-old told her TikTok followers during a Live on Wednesday that she wanted her 2009 split to be “as peaceful as [she] possibly” could make it for the former couple’s eight kids.
However, Kate admitted, “A lot of things happened that I could not control that did not turn out well for my kids.”
The “Kate Plus Date” alum, who is the mother of twins Madelyn and Cara, now 24, and sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis, now 21, said they all “got through it to the best of [their] ability.”
She shaded Jon, 48, by noting, “I did my best. … It could’ve been a lot calmer and a lot nicer if everybody was willing to play nice.
“I made decisions based on how I would want to be treated, honestly,” Kate added. “And I didn’t buy into all the drama and the hate, and the ugly.”
She claimed, “I did not hire an attorney that wanted to stir up trouble. I just wanted it to be peaceful, and I wanted the best for my kids.”
Jon’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Kate similarly blamed Jon earlier this month for her return to nursing, saying her “sickening” financial downfall was partially due to legal fees.
“I was drug [sic] into court constantly and that costs A TON,” she wrote in response to a follower. “Sad bc my kids could have a lot more saved and I could have a retirement saved if it weren’t for lawyers.”
The former couple tied the knot in June 1999 and documented their family on “Jon & Kate Plus 8” for five seasons until their 2009 divorce.
Kate helmed a “Kate Plus 8” spinoff until 2017.
She has been estranged from two of her children — Collin and Hannah, who live with Jon — for years.
The former has accused Kate of abuse, which she — and Madelyn — have vehemently denied.
As Kate has recently given rare glimpses of the kids she lives with via TikTok, Collin has made headlines of his own for extending an olive branch to his siblings.
“Born to be a team, us against the world,” the former Marine captioned a recent video. “Forced apart, pitted against each other.”
The following week, Collin shared his heartbreak over not knowing Madelyn, Cara, Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden “at all.”
He noted that he “very much wish[es]” he was in contact with his siblings.
