PHOENIX — A groundbreaking ceremony for the Chandler Innovation Park was held on Tuesday.

The Chandler Innovation Park will be an industrial park in the city’s Airpark Area Business District, built on a 21-acre site near the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Ryan Road.

It’s expected to provide three buildings consisting of 327,776 square feet of space and the buildings will range from 39,000 to 190,000 square feet apiece.

The park is designed to accommodate multiple types of industrial tenants with 32-to-28 foot clear heights, grade-level and dock-high doors, fully secured truck courts and a convenient location right in the heart of Chandler’s fastest-growing employment corridor near Loop 202 and the Chandler Municipal Airport.

“This development enhances our city’s position as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing. We thank DPC Companies for choosing Chandler and investing in a project that will generate economic benefits for years to come,” said Mayor Kevin Hartke.

Hartke was joined by Tony Kill, vice president of development at DPC Companies, the developer of the park, Micah Miranda, economic development director for the city of Chandler, and Jim Roland, senior vice president of Acorn, the general contractor of the park.

Groundbreaking brings together business leaders, government officals

“Chandler Innovation Park represents DPC Companies’ commitment to delivering modern, flexible industrial space that fuels regional growth,” said Kill. “Chandler has proven to be a dynamic, business-friendly environment, and we are excited to contribute to its next chapter of innovation and economic development.”

DPC has been an owner and investor in Chandler for over 10 years, but the Chandler Innovation Park is the first project the company has started from the ground up.

“We are thrilled to see DPC Companies delivering a project in Chandler,” said Miranda. “The Chandler Innovation Park reflects the strength of our industrial market and the city’s strategic investments in infrastructure and business attraction.”

Roland, who is also a Chandler resident, was also pleased to partner with DPC Companies and the city of Chandler.

“Chandler Innovation Park signifies the kind of forward-thinking development,” he said. “We’re proud to partner with DPC Companies and the city of Chandler to bring this high-performance industrial space to life.”

Lee & Associates Arizona is managing the leasing process.
