Summary

  • Toyota GR Supra named official pace car for the 2025 NASA Championships at Ozarks International Raceway
  • Supra’s debut in the role highlights Toyota GAZOO Racing’s grassroots motorsport support
  • Event runs Sept. 4–7, 2025, featuring drivers from 14 NASA regions

Toyota has announced that the GR Supra will serve as the official pace car for the 2025 National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Championships, set for September 4–7 at Ozarks International Raceway in Missouri. This marks the third Toyota GR sports car to pace NASA’s marquee event, but the Supra’s first appearance in the role.

Dressed in a bold Toyota GAZOO Racing livery of red, white and black, the Supra will lead competitors through the 3.97-mile, 19-turn circuit, known for its steep elevation changes and technical challenges. “Our passion for performance and motorsports runs deep and we’re honored to support grassroots racing through our relationship with NASA,” said Mike Tripp, Toyota group vice president of marketing. “We’re especially proud to have the GR Supra pacing the 2025 Championships at Ozarks International Raceway.”

The partnership aims to showcase Toyota’s commitment to grassroots motorsport. Since 2019, all GR sports car buyers, including GR Corolla, GR86 and GR Supra, receive a complimentary one-year NASA membership and a free High Performance Driving Event track day. NASA CEO Jeremy Croiset added, “The relationship between Toyota and NASA has been an incredible way to introduce sports car owners to the world of performance driving in a safe and responsible manner. We’re especially excited to welcome the GR Supra for the first time as the official pace car.”

The Supra’s pace car debut arrives as the model nears its own finale, with the 2026 MkV Final Edition limited to 1,300 units in North America, powered by a 382-hp turbocharged inline-six.
