Norman Reedus’ son, Mingus Reedus, was arrested for assault, The Post can exclusively reveal.
The model, 25, was placed in custody on Saturday for domestic violence after officers responded to a call about a female who had taken pills and was threatening to commit suicide at a Manhattan address.
A police source tells The Post that Mingus allegedly punched a female victim in the leg, causing redness, and then choked her and slammed her to the ground.
Another cop source tells the outlet that Mingus has been formally charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and third-degree assault.
Page Six has reached out to Norman for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Norman welcomed Mingus with Danish model Helena Christensen in October 1999.
The couple dated for five years before calling it quits in 2003.
Mingus began modeling in 2017, signing with the Society Management and making his debut for Calvin Klein.
He has walked the runway for several large brands, including Tommy Hilfiger and Versace.
Mingus has also posed in several fashion campaigns with his mom, such as a Mother’s Day campaign for Victoria’s Secret in 2021 and for Marcell Von Berlin’s Suits Collection in 2022.
In an interview with Grazia Magazine, Christensen, 56, gushed about working with her son.
“We have a lot of fun together sharing little jokes between us throughout the day,” she told the outlet.
“It’s good to have a secret language on set, that way you can really let the dark humor flow and my son is a master that. We have a very easy approach to it. You go do the job as fast as you can and have fun with it.”
Christensen also said that though Mingus is “grateful” for modeling opportunities, his main passion is “making music and studying film.”
Norman also shares daughter Nova, 6, with German actress Diane Kruger.
