Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare appearance in the Hamptons Thursday.
The fashion icons, both 39, were pictured arranging racks of chic, minimalist clothing in muted colors from their couture brand, The Row. Both were makeup-free and wore black loungewear as they curated clothing from the high-end label.
The famous twin sisters wore their long, dark blond hair parted down the middle in soft waves as they focused on hanging clothing, organizing the space and chatting in their brightly lit store.
The “Full House” alums were last seen in public together at the star-studded birthday bash of W magazine editor-in-chief Sara Moonves in New York City in November 2024.
Prior to that, the twins were snapped stepping out for a girls’ night out with younger sister Elizabeth Olsen, 36, in New York in February 2024.
The Olsen twins are known for their extreme privacy and discretion — Ashley gave birth to a baby boy named Otto sometime in 2023, without ever publicly announcing her pregnancy.
TMZ reported in August 2023 that she and husband Louis Eisner had welcomed their first child “a few months ago in New York.”
Mary-Kate and Ashley, who rose to fame as infants on TV in the ’80s, opened up in a rare joint interview about their side-by-side evolution from actors to fashion industry icons.
“I don’t know how conscious we were of what we were doing at that time, to be really honest,” Ashley told i-D in 2021 of the brand’s 2005 inception.
“We had just moved to New York,” she continued. “We were 18 years old and I think what we did know was that we wanted to take that time to take a break from what we were previously doing and to explore things that interested us, and explore what life has to offer — ”
“Creatively,” Mary-Kate interjected, as Ashley added, “we wanted to explore making something of ourselves.”
From there, the brand took on a life of its own, celebrated for its minimalist, upscale appeal. Mary-Kate told the publication that she and her twin are “very much perfectionists and hard workers and we’ve always been hard workers.”
“I think the reason that we do fashion is to constantly try to fix our imperfections, and you always have next season to do that,” she added in part.
