Selling Mega Mansions host Camille Anderson took to social media this week to talk about the issue of crime in Los Angeles, after she said she was “body slammed” while being mugged in Beverly Hills.
Anderson, best known for hosting the reality show that follows estate agents trying to sell luxury homes, posted a video on Instagram describing the incident earlier this week.
“I was thrown to the ground very forcefully, like body slammed to the ground,” she said, adding there were multiple “grown adult men that did this.”
Newsweek reached out to the Beverly Hills Police Department outside of regular working hours via email for comment.
The Context
Beverly Hills has a high crime rate. So far this year, 897 property crimes have occurred, including 21 robberies, according to Beverly Hills Police Department data, although this is fewer than the crimes reported this time in 2024.
What To Know
Describing the incident to local news outlet KTLA, Anderson said that it happened while she was out with a friend on Saturday night.
“We decided to walk from a restaurant on Canon Drive to one that was just a few blocks away at 9 p.m. at night,” she said.
Anderson said she and her friend were near Santa Monica Boulevard and Canon Drive when they were approached by two men.
“They lunged at me and tried to take my purse. I tensed up. It was just my natural reaction,” she said.
“And because they didn’t get the purse on the first attempt, the person slammed me to the ground,” she continued.
Anderson said the men then sped off in a car, and bystanders called 911. The police arrived in what Anderson said felt like less than 10 minutes.
The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Vlad Oganisyan, 25-year-old Razmik Papikyan, and 45-year-old Grigoryan Vahagn, according to KTLA. Anderson’s purse was found, and she said she wasn’t seriously injured by the incident, but that she had some cuts and bruises.
Following the incident, Anderson posted a video on Instagram warning others about the risks of robbery in the community.
“Don’t carry any designer bags with any kind of logos,” she said in the video. “Don’t wear any nice watches. It definitely attracts these criminals.”
“Be careful out there. Be vigilant. Be aware of your surroundings. Sometimes there’s only so much you can do but this is real, this is happening, people are getting robbed, mugged,” Anderson added.

What Happens Next
Per the KTLA report, the suspects may face charges of robbery and conspiracy. They were released on bond while the investigation continues.
