At the premiere of the American actor’s new film, the comedy Splitsville, Dakota Johnson was accompanied by her mom, both dressed in daring but elegant looks.
On August 18, the mother-daughter duo showed up in two contrasting outfits: Dakota Johnson wore a tight-fitting, sleeveless metallic Gucci dress, which fell to the floor. Its bandeau neckline enhanced her figure and gave her a playful aura. For her part, Melanie Griffith went more traditional in summer suiting, but paired the look with an insane shoe.
The Working Girl actor wore a deconstructed double-breasted suit jacket with broad shoulders and a cinched waist with fluid pants in the same shade, a creamy white, that fell over her sneaker pumps. As for accessories, both mom and daughter opted for simplicity. Johnson wore only diamond earrings and a matching bracelet, while Griffith sported a discreet necklace and cream-colored lace fingerless gloves. Their outfits, though wildly different, complement each other perfectly, playing subtly between audacity and elegance. These are two nepo babies (Griffith is the daughter of the legendary Tippi Hedren) we’ll never tire of seeing.
