Summary:

  • The North Face and Aimé Leon Dore collaborate on a six-piece collection across apparel, footwear, and accessories.
  • Reimagining signature silhouettes with premium materials, the drop includes a Nuptse Jacket in Casentino wool and a Denali Jacket in all-nylon.
  • The collection will launch September 19 at select stores and online.

The ongoing convergence of fashion and the outdoors has led to countless collaborations that are now firmly embedded in the minds of fashion enthusiasts. No stranger to this prevailing intersection is mountaineering OG, The North Face, a brand that has done its fair share of exploring high-heat fashion, dropping collections with giants like Gucci, Supreme, Junya Watanabe, and more.

For its latest collaborative venture, the outdoor brand has partnered with New York City’s Aimé Leon Dore to elevate classic outdoor apparel, equipment, and footwear through a refined lifestyle lens.

Aimé Leon Dore is known for pulling impeccable classic style into the current moment – always offering a fresh perspective while deeply honoring New York’s diverse cultures and communities through its references and storytelling.

The six-piece collection sees classic The North Face silhouettes filtered through Aimé Leon Dore’s universe, blending elite functionality, premium materials, and a deep narrative.

The iconic Nuptse Jacket, seen alongside a matching hat, has been reimagined in Casentino wool and finished with a ratinatura treatment for warmth and water resistance. Other outerwear pieces include the Denali Jacket in all-nylon, designed as a windproof suit and paired with a matching hat, and a Firefighter Jacket crafted with three-layer waterproof technology. This piece also incorporates traditional firefighter details and pays homage to the North Face Mountain Jacket and Base Camp Duffel, with elements like D-rings on the sleeves and durable ballistic nylon overlays.

Elsewhere, the collection includes two accessories: the Nylon Borealis Backpack and a Leather North Dome Rope Bag. Rounding out the drop are the Verto Alpine Shoes – a silhouette celebrated for its performance capabilities, now reimagined in leather, mirroring the collection’s fusion of style and utility.

The North Face x Aimé Leon Dore will launch at Aimé Leon Dore’s website, it’s New York and London stores and at The North Face stores in Asia, September 19.
