What’s the opposite of a love triangle?
Socialite Libbie Mugrabi’s mom, Jane Scher, has found herself in one big three-way mess of Upper East Side drama, and the root of it is, you guessed it, Botox!?
The colorful cosmetic nurse is being accused of owing an assistant, Francis Urrutia, $20,000 in backpay, while aspiring South African influencer, Jean-Claude Langerholc, claims Scher reneged on a barter deal for him to promote her SkinTight MedSpa business.
They’re now both out to expose her, with Langerholc telling Page Six he’s “fed up with her lies” and “bullying.” “She walks around like she’s the grand dame of the Upper East Side because of her daughter, but she doesn’t have two pennies to rub together,” he said.
Scher insists they’re the ones bullying her!
Langerholc is speaking out after Urrutia, whom he’s recently befriended, confided in him about her alleged work conditions, including allegedly not getting paid for months. Urrutia has filed a lawsuit in New York civil court, claiming she’s owed six months backpay totaling $20,000.
In text messages seen by Page Six, Scher, 72, berated the staffer to, “do your job. It’s an easy job. I’ve expected a high school student to do better than you.”
“I am a wreck from you,” Scher told her after Urrutia sent her a picture of her crying.
“U [sic] demand so much but can’t even pay me on time,” Urrutia wrote.
“No, I have no money in the account… I don’t have any money to pay you when there’s no business. I am stressed out, too,” Scher replied. (Scher told Page Six the texts were out of context).
Scher accused Urrutia of “harassing me and stealing from an old lady,” in another text message. “And this is elder abuse,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Langerholc was baffled when Scher allegedly billed him $7,000 for Botox, lip injections and Restylane filler, after setting up a post-as-pay deal to promote her biz and bring in new clients, he alleged to us.
“She wasn’t just showing me an invoice. She wanted me to pay it. She wanted influencers for a barter system, and then billed me,” he told us.
“We filmed for three hours, and I came back after that because I didn’t like how my lips looked, or my forehead,” he added. (Langerholc also tells us Scher owes him for dinners he paid for when her card was declined).
Scher, on the other hand, said it’s “all lies.” And after confabbing with her daughter Libbie, she told us, “we got grifterbombed!”
“They’re harassing and tag-teaming me. He was never billed and Francis and him are in cahoots. They got together and they think they’re cute, and they’re a tag team. He’s trying to get on Page Six,” Scher said.
She further accused Urrutia of stealing a diamond and emerald necklace worth six grand and falsifying time cards. (Urrutia insists it was a gift).
“[The necklace] is not a gift! I loaned it to her, for her to look nice. It’s all a shakedown. She’s refused to give me back the necklace and keys to the office,” Scher told us.
Scher added that she may be pursuing her own civil suit against Urritia for allegedly “stealing my necklace.”
Additionally, she shared videos of the alleged “grifterbombers” taunting her.
In one, Langerholc and Urrutia are posing in a mirror with him saying, “hashtag I stole your assistant,” followed by a laugh. “She gon’ lose her mind. I’ma troll her,” he said.
Another clip shows them blowing a kiss to the camera. “Wish you were here bitch… Not!!” Langerholc says with a laugh.
Scher says she has retained a lawyer and he “will deal with [Urritia].”
“This is harassment,” she alleged of Langerholc, whom she’s filed a report against, she said.
“He turned my assistant against me and is trying to ruin my reputation. I’m a total ethical person,” she concluded.
