Japanese artist and designer VERDY has partnered with Beats to design a speaker holder, depicting a newcomer to his repertoire of cartoonish characters.
Known for his nostalgic illustration style, VERDY introduces the first re-imagined Pill Character for the new Beats Pill. In line with his tradition of V-named creatures like Vick and Visty, Vear evokes friendly and mischievous cartoon characters. Holding the audio brand’s latest Beats Pill model inside its mouth, the collectible figurine was conceived by the Girls Don’t Cry-founder himself in Tokyo.

VERDY’s latest Girls Don’t Cry collection, full of playful graphics and pastel colors, was also dropped at Dover Street Market London just last week. The collection launch contributes to the designer’s “VERDY’s Gift Shop” at the Dover Street Market location, which has offered exclusive collaborations across three weeks of drops.
Retailing for $500 USD in a bundle with a new speaker, VERDY’s Beats Pill holder is set for release on August 21 in-store at Dover Street Market London. The Vear Beats Pill holder will be available in the US, China, and Japan later this year.
