A pair of perfect teams meet for a spot in the U.S. Bracket championship game on Wednesday when the Summerlin South Little League of Las Vegas takes on the Fairfield National Little League of Fairfield, Connecticut. This is the Las Vegas organization’s first LLWS appearance, while Fairfield is at the LLWS for the fourth time and was a U.S. semifinalist in 2017.

The Summerlin South Little League from Las Vegas and the Fairfield National Little League of Fairfield, Connecticut, got to the U.S. Bracket semifinal at the 2025 Little League Baseball World Series in very different ways.
After having no hits through six innings, Nevada broke through in the bottom of the seventh for a walkoff 1-0 win over South Carolina on Monday afternoon. Cutter Ricafort singled to right field, and Griffin Vargas came around to score when the ball was misplayed.
Meanwhile, Connecticut skated into this game after exploding for 10 runs in the top of the sixth inning to turn its game on Monday night into a 13-1 rout of South Dakota. Tommy D’Amura was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, while Jimmy Taxiltaridis went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs.
The winner advances to the U.S. championship game on Saturday afternoon, while the loser proceeds to the lower bracket semifinal against the winner of Wednesday night’s elimination game between South Dakota and South Carolina.
