If you thought Mike Vrabel could get mad on the sidelines during an NFL game, that’s apparently nothing compared to how annoyed the New England Patriots head coach can get at the local coffee shop.

Or, more specifically, the local coffee shop parking lot.

The first-year Patriots coach sat down with The Athletic’s Dianna Russini during the team’s trip to Minnesota, and when he was asked for his biggest pet peeve, Vrabel didn’t hold back.

“People when they leave their carts in the middle of the parking lot and they don’t take them back to the cart return,” Vrabel replied.

Vrabel then quickly shifted gears, directing even more scorn to another parking lot offender.

“And then, the people at Starbucks who park in the handicapped spot and go in there and try to get their order from the mobile order. (They are) by no means handicapped,” Vrabel said to Russini.

“I look in the dash, I look — and then I wait and I just approach them,” he continued. “I say things like ‘Why did you park here?’ One person would be like ‘Oh, I’m with DoorDash,’ and I’m like, ‘I don’t care. That’s unacceptable.’ Then there’s the mom that’s going to yoga, and she’s rushing because she’s late, and I’m like, this is ridiculous.”

As to how society should handle these sorts of things, Vrabel channeled his inner Nathaniel Hawthorne.

“I wish I had a boot. That’s a great idea. I would boot their car, just like a mobile boot that says, ‘I parked in a handicapped spot, and I’m not handicapped,’” he added.

Consider yourself warned, New England — especially the greater Foxboro area.
