From Selena Gomez‘s shimmering green eyeshadow to Jennifer Lawrence‘s lifted makeup (which was so good it caused plastic surgery rumors) Vanngo is known for creating ultra-flattering glam. Now, he’s bringing his expertise to your makeup bag with his own beauty line, Hung Vanngo Beauty.
Launching at Sephora and HungVanngoBeauty.com on September 8, Hung Vanngo Beauty is all about accentuating your unique features. “I created Hung Vanngo Beauty to help everyone feel confident and seen,” Vanngo tells Glamour. “I took my time developing each product because it was important to me that they reflect everything I’ve learned over the years—working with all skin tones, textures, and styles.”
The launch features a robust color cosmetics range, including the Color Story Eyeshadow Palette, Longwear Eyeliner, Soft Velvet Kohl Eyeliner, Creamy Matte Lipstick, Accentuating Longwear Lip Liner, Soft Blurring Bronzer, and Very Beautiful Velvet Blush.
Each comes in an array of colors, as shown by the Color Story Eyeshadow Palettes, which are designed by color family to take the guesswork out of an elevated eye look, and the Longwear and Soft Velvet Kohl Eyeliners, for highly pigmented and long-lasting definition.
For the complexion, Vanggo turned to matte and soft-focus formulas in the Creamy Matte Lipstick, Accentuating Longwear Lip Liner, Soft Blurring Bronzer, and Very Beautiful Velvet Blush to help achieve Instagram-filtered skin IRL.
All the collection shade names feature meaningful references to his life and career. Born in Vietnam, Vanngo pays homage to the immigrant experience with the Very Beautiful Velvet Blush shades: Second Language, Single Mother, Full Circle, Born from Beauty, Legacy, and Possibilities.
Although Vanngo is a pro makeup artist, the line is designed to be user-friendly for all. “This collection is all about high-impact, wearable makeup that’s easy to use, so no matter your skill level, you can create something beautiful,” Vanngo said.
