The Queen Mary, Long Beach’s storied ocean liner, is inviting its most loyal fans to step aboard in a new way. On Monday, the ship unveiled its first-ever membership program, offering year-round access, exclusive events and what its operators describe as a deeper connection to the vessel’s past and future.

The program introduces four membership tiers: the Queen Mary+ Pass, QM+ Family Membership, Spirited Pass and VIP Pass, each with its own set of benefits. Members can expect free admission, discounts on dining and shopping, and access to more than 23 exhibits aboard the historic ship.

Some levels include tickets to members-only gatherings and private tours, while the “Spirited” tier highlights the Queen Mary’s haunted reputation with paranormal experiences and even overnight stays in the infamous Stateroom B340.

“This new membership program is about more than access, it’s about community,” said Steve Caloca, the Queen Mary’s managing director. “We wanted to create a way for our most loyal visitors to experience the ship like never before and feel like they’re truly part of her living legacy.”

Memberships start at $149, with the top tier priced at $1,967. The VIP package includes tickets to hallmark celebrations such as the Queen Mary’s Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve events, along with behind-the-scenes tours. The family membership, at $298, allows up to three guests aboard throughout the year.

In addition to the membership rollout, the Queen Mary is inviting visitors to take part in its ongoing restoration through the “Adopt a Rivet” program. For $10, participants can symbolically adopt one of the ship’s 10 million rivets, with proceeds going directly to preservation.

“Adopting a rivet is a simple yet powerful way to be part of history,” Caloca said. “Every donation helps us protect this treasured vessel and ensure its grandeur continues to inspire future generations.”

Since her maiden voyage in 1936, the Queen Mary has been celebrated as one of the grandest ocean liners ever built. After wartime service and decades of use as a hotel, museum and cultural landmark, the ship remains anchored in Long Beach, drawing history enthusiasts, paranormal seekers and casual visitors alike.

With memberships now available, the Queen Mary’s operators are positioning the vessel as more than a tourist attraction, saying they want it to become a community hub and living monument to maritime history.

For more information on memberships and upcoming events, visitors can go online.
