Brandi Glanville’s debilitating face parasite has left her in financial ruin and feeling like “such a loser.”
“I’m paying the minimum on my credit cards. I’ve exhausted my savings,” the former reality star told Us Weekly Thursday.
“At my age, I feel like such a loser in a way, because I was taking care of everything,” she said. “I was together. I had great credit. Now I’m scared about every little thing.”
Glanville, 52, said she has spent at least $130,000 on medical bills since her unexplained facial disfigurement began last year.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum acknowledged that “medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy,” so she has started working with a healthcare strategist to manage the expenses.
The mom of two labeled herself a “hopeful wreck” and detailed the low point she is currently in and how she wants to get her old life back.
“I was sleeping until 5 p.m. I couldn’t get out of bed. Everything ached — at one point, I couldn’t move my neck. I couldn’t get out of bed for four hours. And I’m just like, ‘This is not an existence,’” she explained.
“I stay in this house every day. I’m paying crazy amounts of rent. I’m worrying about money all day long. I have brain fog. I get one thing done a day, and I’m just frazzled.”
The former model also explained why she chose to put Nair on her face in a now viral video that left her with severe burns.
“I was just going down every rabbit hole, and my face loved exfoliation. It was like, ‘OK, I’m gonna get whatever this is out,’” she said.
“So I would exfoliate, like, five times a day, and I wouldn’t even put moisturizer on and it was back to oily — and I never had oily skin,” she continued. “If Nair dissolves hair, maybe, it’ll dissolve whatever’s in my skin.”
She claimed that the hair-removal cream did not actually damage her skin the way viewers thought and that it “looked like [her] face was scorched when really it was just a little bit pink.”
Glanville first began to notice swelling in her face in July 2024 and alleged that it was “stress-induced” and blamed it on Bravo, threatening to sue the network.
She blamed Bravo because of the sexual assault allegations made against her by former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo in January 2023.
In documents obtained by Page Six at the time, Manzo, 63, said she was kissed by Glanville without consent while filming “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” in Morocco.
A rep for Glanville denied the allegations in a statement given to Page Six at the time. “Sadly, Brandi had to wake up to yet another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false accusations about her,” they said.
In the recent TikTok video where Glanville used Nair on her face, she seemingly named her facial parasite “Caroline” after her “Real Housewives” nemesis.
Glanville also attributed her current low point in life to the sexual assault allegations that still follow her.
In April, the “Celebrity Apprentice” alum admitted that Manzo’s claims caused her to contemplate suicide because “all [her] jobs were canceled” and she felt she had no way of earning an income.
Glanville revealed on Thursday that earlier this summer she battled suicidal thoughts again.
“I didn’t want to be here. And if it wasn’t for my kids, I don’t know that I would be here.”
She shares two sons, Mason, 22, and Jake, 18, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian.
