Shelby American has revealed the 2026 Super Snake-R, its most aggressive Super Snake yet. Built on the Ford Mustang Dark Horse platform, the limited-edition widebody produces more than 850 hp from a supercharged 5L V8, paired with either a Tremec TR-3160 manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.
The track-focused model features a fully adjustable coil-over suspension, Borla cat-back exhaust, forged magnesium wheels and extensive carbon fiber bodywork, including the hood vents, front splitter and rear diffuser. A metallic widebody, large pedestal wing and Shelby-spec performance tires enhance both grip and presence.
Inside, the cabin includes a rear seat delete with harness bar, serialized plaques and bespoke trim. Each example is documented in the official Shelby Registry and comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty. Starting at $224,995 USD, including the base Dark Horse Mustang, the Super Snake-R will be available through authorized Shelby dealers in the U.S. and select international markets.
