Does this mean bad blood?
Lana Del Rey teased a new song via Instagram on Wednesday — and seemingly shaded Taylor Swift in the process.
“Track 13 @jackantonoff,” the “Summertime Sadness” singer, 40, captioned a video of herself in the car as her music played.
Swifties were quick to point out that Del Rey dropped the tease the same day Swift, 35, revealed the cover art and release date for her forthcoming album “The Life of a Showgirl” — and used Swift’s lucky number, 13, while doing so.
“Lana sharing Track 13. Same day taylor swift announced her Album,” one X user pointed out. “Knowing 13 is taylor’s lucky number.”
Others honed in on the Antonoff tag, as Swift often works with the 41-year-old producer — but appears to not have done so for her 12th album.
Swift heavily hinted at this on Tuesday when she dropped a curated Spotify playlist featuring 22 of her songs, all produced by Max Martin and Shellback.
Antonoff’s wife, Margaret Qualley, was subsequently asked about Swift’s new music in an awkward “Today” show moment.
The actress, 30, claimed on Wednesday that she didn’t “know anything” and laughed uncomfortably, before stammering, “I’ll be excited to listen to the music.”
One fan summed up the alleged drama, tweeting, “Lana teasing track 13 of her album and tagging co writer jack antonoff is lowkey Taylor shade because obviously Taylor announced her album covers and track list and didn’t work with jack on this album at all so here Lana goes being all messy.”
Another wrote via Instagram that they were witnessing “Kendrick [Lamar] vs Drake 2.0.”
Others, however, speculated that Del Rey is actually feuding with Ethel Cain as she name-dropped the 27-year-old singer in her lyrics.
“Ethel Cain hated my Instagram post,” she sang. “Think it’s cute reenacting my Chicago post.”
Del Rey went on to quip that she’s “the most famous girl at the Waffle House” — referencing her 2023 waitressing stint — who is “not afraid to say I’m going down in flames.”
A Swiftie guessed, “what if taylor knew lana and jack were working on a ethel cain diss track and that’s why she decided not to work with him at all on this project?”
Reps for Swift, Del Rey and Antonoff did not immediately reply to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Swift and Del Rey have been friends since meeting at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, with the latter providing background vocals for Swift’s “Snow on the Beach” 10 years later.
Del Rey gushed about the “driven” pop star in a BBC News interview last year.
“She’s told me so many times that she wants [success] more than anyone,” Del Rey gushed. “And how amazing — she’s getting exactly what she wants.”
