EXCLUSIVE: British agency YMU has signed TV personality and podcaster Spencer Matthews for representation.
Having made his name on reality series Made in Chelsea, Matthews has gone on to become a TV presenter on the likes of Watchdog, a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef, The Bachelor, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Jump, and host of chart-topping podcasts Big Fish and Untapped.
He also featured in Finding Michael, an emotional Disney+ documentary in which he climbed Mount Everest in the hope of finding the body of his brother.
Matthews is also behind CleanCo, an alcohol-free spirit brand he launched after becoming sober, and landed the Guinness World Record for running 30 marathons in 30 days. Today, he has announced plans to complete a self-created ‘Project Se7en’ challenge in which he undertakes seven ironman-type triathlons in seven days.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Spencer Matthews to YMU,” said Lucy Loveridge, Managing Director for Entertainment at London-based YMU. “Spencer is an incredibly driven and ambitious talent with a unique ability to connect with audiences across multiple platforms. We’re excited to support him as he embarks on his Project Se7en challenge and enters the next chapter of his career.”
Matthews added: “I’m excited to be joining YMU. The team have an incredible track record in helping talent grow across different areas of the entertainment industry. I’m proud of the projects I’ve been able to create so far, and I’m looking forward to building on them with the support, expertise, and vision of YMU as I take on new challenges and opportunities.”
