Queen Bey has added another jewel to her crown.

The Television Academy awarded Beyoncé with her first Primetime Emmy as a costume designer for the Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming category for the ensembles designed for her Netflix NFL Christmas Day halftime show performance. For fans, it’s been dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl.”

She won the award with costume designer Shiona Turini, assistant costume designers Erica Rice and Molly Peters, costume supervisor Chelsea Staebell and head of workroom Timothy White.

The award marks a milestone in her career as she’s halfway to achieving EGOT status, which is the acronym for Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and Tony Awards. The “Alien Superstar” already has 35 Grammys under her belt, which is the most in history.

The 43-year-old is also up for outstanding directing for a variety special with Alex Rudzinski, and outstanding variety special (live) category, where she will face off against husband Jay-Z. The Roc Nation founder is nominated in that same category for his involvement in Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, which was presented by Apple Music. Roc Nation has a partnership with the NFL.

In 2022, she received an Oscar nomination for co-writing the song “Be Alive” with DIXSON for the movie “King Richard.”

She’s also on her way to a PEGOT, which includes a Peabody Award. She scored one of those for her visual album “Lemonade” in 2017.

The first winners of the 77th Emmy Awards were announced on Aug. 12 in juried categories for animation, costume, emerging media programming and motion design.

The juried awards will be presented at the 77th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which will take place at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. It’ll take place over two nights, Sept. 6 and 7. An edited presentation will air Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. PST on FXX.

The Emmy Awards take place on Sept. 14 on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+.
