MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (WHNT) — Two-year-old Presley Okeze is representing Muscle Shoals but also the Tennessee Valley as a finalist for this year’s Hasbro Toddler of the Year!
Presley lives in the right city for her dream career field, and if you have not guessed it yet, Presley wants to be a rockstar. Presley loves music, but specifically loves the band Pink Floyd.
Presley’s mother, Breanne Sponaugle, tells News 19 that she often enters her daughter into contests because of her vibrant, talkative and spunky personality, and not to mention, how cute Presley is!
Sponaugle said she entered Presley into the Hasbro Toddler of the Year Contest, and Presley received several votes right off the bat, which brought her to second place out of 15.
Sponaugle is a single mother who works at a small local business in downtown Florence. Sponaugle is also taking care of her disabled father, all while being the best mom to Presley.
If Presley wins, she will get a prize of $25,000, a trip to Peppa Pig Theme Park and so much more.
“If we won, it really would be life changing, I would definitely get Presley a guitar or get her music lessons so she can live her dream of becoming a rockstar,” Sponaugle said.
There is one more round to go in the contest, Sponaugle says the Muscle Shoals community has really rallied and cast several votes for Presley, and it means the world to her, her father and Presley.
“I think that it is very very crazy, because I have lived in other small towns where people get big, and it’s a big deal, it makes you as just a person in the community, feel important”. Sponaugle said.
You can vote for Presley on the Hasbro website.
