Everyone’s favorite enigmatic behind-the-scenes force in the music zeitgeist, the musician took to his website to share an official countdown to his next album’s release. Entitled BABY, the countdown features a live clock counting down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until Friday, August 15, the intended drop date for the anticipated album.
He also shared the official cover art for the album, shot by Zachary Jones.

The one caveat on the August 15 release? The sample clearance. After the on-site timer, the copy reads, in parentheses, “unless samples don’t get cleared.”
Underneath the timer is an MP4 audio file, entitled “BABY_barnburner!!” Click it and a song, presumably lifted from BABY‘s tracklist, plays.
BABY has been a long time coming, with fans eyeing the album ever since 2021’s Absolutely faded into the rearview. Since then, Dijon has offered his production hand to projects from close collaborator Mk.gee and Justin Bieber, as his influence continues to permeate the entire music industry.
Check back in this Friday, August 15, when BABY is set to drop everywhere.
