Golden State snapped a two-game losing streak their last time out, with a 72-59 over the Los Angeles Sparks, who are currently just one game behind the Valkyries in the standings. In the win, Veronica Burton led the way with 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists, with Cecilia Zandalasini (14 points) and Janelle Salaun (11 points) providing support.
After winning two of three, the Sun have fallen back into a funk, now having lost four in a row. They played last night, resulting in a 94-86 loss to the Las Vegas Aces. Marina Mabrey knocked down five 3-pointers en route to scoring 22 points to lead the team, with Saniya Rivers adding 17 points off the bench in the loss.
This will be the third and final matchup of the regular season, with the Sun and Valkyries splitting the first two matchups.
