Margot Robbie’s post-Barbie, post-pregnancy style is starting to take shape, and it looks like she’s finding a nice balance between fancy and casual.

Taking a walk in Venice Beach, the Oscar nominee kept it cool in an all-black ensemble of a black bodysuit tucked into the Dominik Boxer Pant ($320), paired with a black cardigan and accessorized with a black Chanel purse, gold bracelet, and black shades. Her flat black shoes keep everything nice and comfy. As a wise woman (my old coworker Kayla) once said, “If you buy everything in black, all your clothes match and you never have to think about it.”

After an atypically mild start to the summer, it’s heating up in Los Angeles, though the coast remains breezy; layering is a nice way to stay comfortable throughout the day as temperatures rise and fall.

Robbie kept her blonde hair pulled back with two French braids, giving the whole look a sporty vibe that kind of reminds us of a much more glamorous version of Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby. No? Just us? You see it too, right? She could be hitting the world’s fanciest gym in this ensemble.

Earlier in the week, Robbie stepped out for Cara Delevigne’s birthday party at Bar Marmont in high-waisted wide-leg black trousers and a white crop top, another elegant and unfussy combination.

Her next project to hit theaters is the upcoming Emerald Fennell adaptation of Wuthering Heights, costarring Jacob Elordi, which has already drawn controversy due to the actors’ ages (hers) and ethnicities (his), and the Saltburn director’s style perhaps being a, let’s say, surprising fit for the material. According to The Guardian, the results of a test screening were “mixed,” but then, that’s what test screenings are for. Results of an internal poll on Robbie’s street style are not mixed. Certified fresh.
