Bethenny Frankel is getting loud.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum slammed Chanel’s “elitism” after Jennifer Lopez was denied from one of the brand’s stores in Istanbul on Monday.
The ex-Bravolebrity, who experienced her own rejection by the same designer last year, addressed Lopez’s rebuff — and the singer’s “unfazed and unbothered” reaction — via TikTok Friday.
Frankel, 54, pointed out that perhaps the retail location simply “didn’t realize who [Lopez] was or they were full, et cetera” but questioned how the “person at the door” treated her.
The former reality star recalled being spoken to in a “very condescending” way through a “crack in the door” when she was turned away from a Chanel retail location in Chicago in May 2024.
“I looked like an absolute train wreck, and they definitely wouldn’t have known who I was,” she remembered, guessing that Lopez, 56, “looked like a glamazon.”
Frankel noted, “It made me think about the person who could never afford to buy Chanel who just buys a lip gloss … and gets turned away.
“I don’t think that Chanel should change any policies for public people,” she clarified. “I think they should change policies about the elitism and the way they treat someone daring entry into their kingdom, thus making them feel inferior.”
She went on to joke about how great headlines about Lopez’s rejection were for Chanel “from a marketing standpoint.”
Frankel explained, “They’re getting a lot of press. In 2025 you get more press for not letting J. Lo in than you do if you did.”
She stressed that the “On the Floor” singer “is a customer you want to have in your store [because] she’s definitely going to buy.”
Reps for Chanel and Lopez have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The Grammy nominee, who calmly left Chanel on Monday and proceeded to spend a reported tens of thousands of dollars at Celine and Beymen instead, wore a pink set and matching sunglasses when she was turned away.
When Frankel, for her part, was refused entry, the Skinnygirl creator sported a sweatsuit and carried a “basic bitch purse.”
She returned to the store in a pearl-buttoned dress and heels the following day and was let in — only to turn right around in her head-to-toe Chanel ensemble.
“No problem today,” she confirmed at the time, with her followers subsequently applauding Frankel’s decision to “walk in and walk out.”
