Kelley Mack, who recurred on The Walking Dead and had roles in several films, TV series and commercials, died August 2 of glioma in Cincinnati, her family said. She was 33.

Mack played Addy in five Season 9 episodes of AMC’s The Walking Dead in 2018-19. In that season’s finale, she and 10 other characters are abducted by the Whisperers, with deadly results. Her credits also include guest shots on TV series including 9-1-1, Chicago, the Modern Family spinoff Schooled and multiple miniseries. She also appeared in such feature films as Broadcast Signal Intrusion opposite Harry Shum Jr, Mr. Manhattan and the upcoming Universal.

Born Kelley Lynne Klebenow on July 10, 1992, in Cincinnati, Mack began acting in commercials as a child. She earned an Acting Award from Tisch School of the Arts for her debut role as Chloe in The Elephant Garden (2008), a film that also won the Student Visionary Award at the Tribeca Film Festival.

She spent the past 11 years living in Los Angeles, working in film, TV and commercials and doing voice-over roles. Mack recorded for the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, serving as the voice match for Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy. She also produced a handful of short films including 2016’s A Knock at the Door, which won the Festival Award at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival and earned a pair of nominations at FilmQuest.

Mack also was as an executive producer on Universal, an upcoming feature from writer-producer Stephen Portland in which she also stars. She wrote, directed and edited the 2015 short film Positive and served as cinematographer on the 2014 short The Kingdom.

She is survived by her parents, Kristen and Lindsay Klebenow; her sister, Kathryn; her brother, Parker; grandmother and grandfather Lois and Larry Klebenow; and her boyfriend, Logan Lanier. A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. August 16 at the Glendale Lyceum in Glendale, Ohio. The family also is planning a celebration of her life for a future date in Los Angeles for her friends and colleagues in the area.
