(NEXSTAR) — A new streaming platform has entered the chat.

On Tuesday, streaming/electronics giant Roku unveiled its new streaming service Howdy, which the company says offers no advertisements (“always ad-free”) and costs $2.99 per month. While the low price point may tempt some new customers, there’s one limit to who can use Howdy right now.

Howdy’s currently only available to Roku device users, through the company’s electronic devices, online at The Roku Channel or through the Roku mobile app.

The service has over 3,000 television shows and movies available to stream, per its website. A few TV shows available include “The Conners,” “Weeds,” “Forensic Files,” and “Unsolved Mysteries.” Movie-wise, a few of recently added titles include “Elvis,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Divergent” and the “Blade” film series. Click here for more information about what’s available to watch on Howdy.

Howdy’s $3 price point makes it one of the least expensive ad-free services. The cheapest of most already existing ad-free tiers start around $10 per month, including Apple TV+ and AMC+.

Although only Roku users can currently watch Howdy, the company says a rollout for other platforms will be coming “in the near future.”
